Since 1977, The Juniper Tree has been offering rest and refreshment for Christian workers, who work in situations outside of their own culture. We are an evangelical, non-denominational, charitable foundation, set up to provide places where individuals, couples or families can come to find physical and spiritual refreshment to enable them to return to their sphere of service.

Rather than being a guest house or hotel, our aim is to provide pleasant accommodation for Christian workers on a restricted budget to come and enjoy the peaceful environment. In normal times we provide three meals per day, Wi-Fi and a personal laundry service.

We have 2 locations in Thailand: Chiang Mai, the main city in the north of Thailand and Dolphin Bay at Samroiyod District of Prachuap Khiri Khan, 200 kilometres south of Bangkok.

The Juniper Tree Chiang Mai is located in Thailand’s bustling second city, in the north of the country. Although close to the city centre the property is in a quiet tropical garden setting with large grounds, with quiet places to walk, a games field and a swimming pool.

There are good hospital facilities nearby, and two good counselling centres.

The Juniper Tree Dolphin Bay ​is located in southern Thailand, right beside the beach, approximately 4 hours drive from Bangkok.

It has modern purpose-built buildings, a swimming pool, all set in a beautiful 5 km long beach location, near to a National Park.

It is about 25 minutes from Pranburi (the nearest town) and 40 minutes’ drive from Hua Hin, with night markets, cinemas and hospitals.
