Chiang Mai is the gateway to the country’s north in what used to be the Lanna Kingdom. It is an international tourist destination with many attractions both within the city and surrounding areas. Although historical, Chiang Mai has all the facilities of a modern city with world class shopping malls and a good choice of modern hospitals and clinics. A number of countries have consulates in Chiang Mai for visa processing.

The Juniper Tree Chiang Mai
The Juniper Tree is situated in a secluded tropical garden close to the city centre. It is easily accessible from the airport (20 minutes) and the train station (5 minutes) by taxi. Supermarkets, shopping malls and Chiang Mai’s famous night bazaar are all within a short taxi drive.

Accommodation consists of traditional Lanna style houses or modern family bungalows, ranging from one to four-bedrooms, with a variation of single and king beds.

We are always grateful for donations, which enable us to upgrade and develop the facilities at the Juniper Tree. This can be done at the end of your stay or here. Donations will currently be used to replenish our reserves that have been depleted during the COVID period.
